La reina Isabel II de Inglaterra ha fallecido este jueves a los 96 años en su residencia de Balmoral, Escocia, lo que pone fin a un reinado sin precedentes de más de 70 años y supone el ascenso al trono de su primogénito, el príncipe Carlos, de 73 años de edad, informa el Palacio de Buckingham. Todos los miembros de la familia británica se han desplazado de la residencia escocesa.
